Meretz awards - How to get them?

Hi,

I am sure this is a completely noob question... I have not been playing long (even though I am an original backer... I just held off...)

Anyway... I have a ton of Meretz potions, Emots, etc... that I have "bought" through the Meretz app... they show up on the web site under add ons.... but how do I collect them in the game? I can't see them under rewards... or in my bank... so I am sure I just don't have a clue what I am doing....

They will be emotes and end up showing up under the o key which is where our emotes are. I got a couple of them from Christmas from a friend and I just had to click on them. Did you click on your screen in game under rewards and claim? It's in the upper right corner.

You collect them via the Rewards interface. Click Claim new Rewards. They'll show up. I use them all the time.

 

Meretz is a fitness app that you can download and install on your phone... then you earn rewards based on achievements you earn in the app.

 

Ah ha! I just never clicked on the "Claim Rewards" button... I just guessed that dumped everything into my inventory.... Once I clicked on that button, they all show up on the Rewards menu....

One more quick follow up question... if I change characters.... do these Rewards remain? I figure they are attached to my account, and not my character (unless I grab them, I would guess...) is this true?

Thanks for the help! I have a few hours in the game finally... and I am really enjoying it.. It does feel a bit "old school" to me.... which is why I backed it in the first place.... I started playing Ultima with Ultima II!

Yes, they're tied to the account not the individual character.

Going to find vendors in out of the way locations cant reap rewards as many items are for sale in remote towns.

 

Anyone else having issues with the app not updating steps?

 

It has happened once before. I just ran it and watched and you're right. It didn't update.

 

If you don't get any point updates by the next day, you can contact the Meretz team via the link in the app. I have had to get them to update my account when I first set it up, and one time a while later.

Never mind the merit of doing yoga in a full suit of plate armor!

My theory is simple, why not create an emote system that responds and interacts with player equipment? Because that's crazy.
