Meticulous Collection w/out having skill unlocked?

Tried to get a screen shot of the actual collection itself, just not that fast.

Yep, I've got prosp tools. Just doesnt feels like I should get meticulous w/out ever having learned the skill. Got it Deep Ravens on a Spider today too.

 

I think the challenge here is that we're thinking of it as an active skill that we either have or don't have, whereas in the description of the innate, all it does is increase the chance of meticulous collection. In this sense, Meticulous Collection is a quality that you already possess, but putting levels into that Innate skill (as well as having Prosperity tools) will augment the chance of triggering it.

I will agree, however, that the naming convention used would lead you to assume that if it isn't trained, you should never see it. Perhaps "Improved Meticulous Collection" for the innate. Hmmmm.
