Mistake on bludgeon 2-handed STR bonus

    Mistake on bludgeon 2-handed STR bonus?

    2-handed bludgeon str bonus was earlier "very high" to compensate sword bigger base dmg?
    now it seems 2-handed sword is just superior.
    (notice parry and weight too)

    Well that makes the decision easy. The "Very High" bonus was the only reason to even consider using bludgeons. 2h Swords all the way, now. :oops: smh.

    I switched to 2h sword. I kill so much faster in R33 and I'm only 3/4 the skill of the hammer. I can kill faster so I can take on 2 or 3, with 2h hammer just 1.

    Agreed. I'm glad I moved away from bludgeon, but I am quite shocked to find nerfs coming in to an already very weak skill-set.

    Ok, just a reminder that the words there are not tied to a single number but to a range of numbers. I think bludgeon was 4.0 and 2hs was 4.5 and both got bumped a half point to 4.5 and 5.0. Bludgeon is still a greater strength bonus, it just doesn't show in the text. I think the real issue is that we need to adjust the text breaking points!

    Is "Weapon Strength Damage" enhancement the same thing as Strength Bonus? and if so, does my additional 2.5 bring it to 7.5 and it's still not breaking past "High?"

    As far i understand you want that number as low as possible not as high.
    5.0 means you get +1 damage for every 5 strength.

    Psst, Chris, that means that in effective math the STR bonus advantage that bludgeon used to have went from +1/9th to +1/10th. So the nerf was larger for bludgeon than sword when the perceived effectiveness is that it should be the other way around to compensate.
    Maybe you want to adjust that 2hBludgeon 4.5 to 4.4 instead to keep the incentive on the same scale?
