    @Scottie - Any chance you can tell us if the Village version can be placed on the rooftop of a LotM Keep? I'd buy one quick if it can... but I hate to spend the money if the roof-top observatory option won't work.

    Yes, indeed! The Village version seems to fit and place perfectly! With room to spare, in fact!

    The largest "Keep Lot" sized one does not, however (it's almost four times the size of the Village Lot one)...

    @Barugon - Yes - it fits. You'll still have enough room to walk around it - and it does stretch up to the rafters above - but it does place properly.

    My guess is often the prices reflect how rare or common the devs decide things should be and the keep moondial is pretty extreme in size, so it doesn't make sense for everyone to have one ;D

    @Barugon - I tested it there for you - then put it on top of the LOTM Keep. I prefer it outdoors so it will align with the sky visually. If you want to see it in the Grand Chateau, Friend "Cthrek'Goru Tazar" in game and I can set it up for you in Falling Waters Fortress.

    Bowen currently used the roof of the Keep in my POT for some astronomy nights, I set it up with some Darkstarr moondials and telescopes and seating - but if he felt a larger one would help I would contribute.

    @Scottie Its everything I could have imagined but alas, I only bought the larger small model. I had high hopes to buy the keep sized one for my PoT but I feeel obligated to complain loudly about the utterly ridiculous price. I know 100% that this is not Scottie so I would like him to keep up the good work on this stuff. However, I will take it up with RG and the money men and start ramping up my complaints about the extortion on pricing for people like me in keeps with PoTs who want these things. $600 is utterly insane and while it worked during early pledging I think its gonna ruin the game. I dont understand how the money men in these games dont realize that its more profitable to sell 100,000 at $10 vs 10 at $1000.
