Title: More than 3000 items in player inventory results in laggy interface

Blocker? kinda, mostly for people who have to move large quantities of stuff
Details:If you have more than 3000 items in your inventory, selecting a subset of the items to move to a chest is really slow. When you select, say, 200 of the 3000 and then drag them over to the chest, it takes from 20 to 45 seconds for the interface to actually drag the items so you can drop them. Moving 5000 items can take a really long time. Is there a way to improve the performance?
Steps to Reproduce: Fill inventory with 3000 items. Select 200. Click on the 200 and drag them to another container. Continue holding the left mouse button down until you see the items have been dragged (takes awhile). Release left mouse button to drop the items.
