Multi Shot misses too often!

    In fact, it misses so often that it's not very useful. I seem to be better off spending my focus on other skills. Anyone else feel this way?

    I feel the lack of damage makes it not very useful but this is another good reason.

    Multishot can do great damage, but it's very situational. I like it personally, but it would be nice if it hit more often.

    I have 120 on multishot, have MS on it on a bow, its one of my 3 fundamental attack glyphs for XP grind for very long time, I would like higher damage then chance to hit, no need to go casual with it, let it stay skill dependant but a bit more powerful.

    In my admittedly limited experience, it can be difficult to aim the shot to hit enough opponents. I believe I've noticed that most of the time I miss, targets seem to be outside the path of the arrows. I have had times where it's been useful. Just not that often. But I can't tell if it's the skill or the user at this point. :)

    Last time I used it was against like 10 elves. All my shots hit but the damage was nothing on 1k HP elves. I dropped a 5 stack Ring of Fire and a 5 stack Meteor and the elves melted away.

    From the perspective of focus, this skill is very expensive to use and it doesn't seem very effective.

    I find that the main problem with multi-shot is, if you are on a slope, shooting downwards, it often fires over the heads of your targets. I also agree with Barugon that it misses far too often. A few tweaks would make this attack much better.

    Why would this be skill dependant in any way?

    You are firing a large volley of arrows in a massive arc.

    Should be maneuver mobs into your arc, fire and hit everything in the arc.


    This skill was working well for 2 releases. Used to hit each enemy in your arc multiple times for decent damage.

    Everyone liked it but then for some reason it was inexplicably broken and changed into this mess.

    Yes. It was pretty good for a while and now it just kind of sucks.

    1) Its just your opinion and guys who liked your post that it is broken, which is of course completely wrong. Really why spell that can make 2500+ aoe dmg, my best single target dmg by multishot was around 500+ is broken? Its far lower than EQ and CE can do but still is the best skill for AOE XP grinding in archery tree now.
    2) There is nothing difficult to shot 8 mobs by multishot (it still can miss if you made it wrong(but have very low chance of it)), but to successfully shot on 3-4 mobs its another story.
    3) The result of multishot depends heavily on the relative position of the mobs to each other and to the avatar. (and you absolutely should to control it if you want use multishot against 3-4-5 targets effective) (the less amount of mobs than harder make a good shot, harder but not impossible)
    4) Chris said somewhere on forum which position is a best. And who from targets affected by multishot will get damage multiplication(Hit by multishot twice).
    5) Imho it also depends on another factor and pretty surprising for me(based on my feelings and a bit of testing, not on data analyze, so I still can be wrong here) so would not sound it now but if I`m right some side of Sota is deeper than I thought.
