    1. I'm a Ranger with Wind Magic and I can tame animals but I need to find out how to get a tame collar.
      • From me: Dang it, there's that forced class again! "Hey, if you didn't want to do that you can do anything, switch over now before you put too many points in it."
    2. Wow, stuff is so expensive at least arrows, 24 arrows for 1000!
      • Me to Devs: Guys you should really remove that dead vendor, this is not the first player who has thought that was the normal price of arrows. Imagine that EVERY bow user you forced into bows has gotten to Soltown and the first thing they see is this incredibly expensive arrow seller, and they think that that is the going price.
        • How many new players quit the game right there? All due to that one vendor?
      • And since you are forcing the bow on new players, you should really provide an arrow vendor in the Outskirts.
He was just confused it turns out, on the arrow vendor.

    More observations

    • He was confused by the XP system, as his pool was low but didn't know what that meant/how to turn off skills.
    • He has found out how to open the secondary bar without my help.
    • Looks like he didn't find charged attack, and left click holding is causing him to walk.
      • He still can't find it.
    • Wonders why he can't chop up downed logs, doesn't realize the magic red ones are the ones to use. As people from the country that makes more sense to us in many cases than chopping down a tree.

Did he figure out that 1 bundle = 144 arrows?
Hehe, buy all those bundles... It's 144,000 arrows...
That's a "slow" walk back to the house...

I think the blacksmith does sell arrows in the Outskirts, and on top of that, the player does get introduced to a quest for gathering materials for making arrows, although I don't remember if one gets a recipe out of it.

As far as I'm aware it's impossible for us to craft bundles of arrows so it's unlikely they'll show up on a player vendor.

Not when I did it, however I already had the recipe. It ought to be possible to discover the recipe given the quest as it's re-teachable.

I'm pretty sure that was a player vendor in Soltown, not NPC vendor.

No argument at all. I would only suggest that an archer would benefit from public chests a lot. In my experience, public chests are loaded with arrows because they drop constantly for all players and are not worth selling.

Does this arrow dilemma point to any needed adjustment needed within the need for fletching to be more basic with any added resources necessary?
If I were to take up archery, and some day I will, I would expect my character, from an RP sense, to have more easy in the ability to fletch long before having the ability to arch within his life o_O From and RP sense that is.

Well arrows are certainly not economical to make right now, but in his case forget the whole thing. If it's anything, it's a UI problem as he was confused by the cost.

Indeed... I think that's one of the most important new user problems when it comes to archery o_O~TL~
