*You see the woman harassed by two bringands at the far end of the tavern and suddenly out of the shadows a blur of blades and both brigands lay face down in a puddle of blood. The tall elegant man wipes his swords on the clothing of the brigands and whisper to the lady as he fades back into the shadows "They will not bother you anymore". *

OOC; Progressive house from Brian Cid for your listening pleasure. R/Boris/ El Pirata.

    Into the night
    My long suffering friend
    We'll be reborn again
    Right here where everything ends

    Face to the sky
A trail of smoke in the air
    Pass into emptiness
    New life's awaiting you there

Slave to some wretched old imagination of yesteryear
All that grows in the skulls of the living are flowers of fear

    The morning red
A sun god calling you back
    Down through a thousand years
    White embers whistle and crack

Await the dawn with her kiss of redemption, my firebird!
You were the queen of the souls of men before there was the word

    The morning new
    The morning red
    The fiery promise
    Mad swirling smoke
    Wheels round her head

Dedication to the queen of souls,
    Her lost disciples
And when the fire's work is done
    Our time to be reborn

    By pagan streams
A wind whips the leaves from the trees
And it is revealed to us
That we are dreams within dreams

Born from some wretched old imagination of yesteryear
Now all that grows in the skulls of the living are flowers of fear

    The morning new
    The morning red
    The fiery promise
    Mad swirling smoke
    Wheels round her head

Dedication to the queen of souls,
    Her lost disciples
And when the fire's work is done
    Our time to be reborn

I see you one U2 and raise you one Pat Benatar Beatles Cover (FYI this picture with her producted hair and dice is in my bedroom still even though I am far too old to have rock posters in my bedroom lol--and this song was not on the album cover pictured from you tube, it was on her first album in the heat of the night I think or maybe crimes of passion)

I see your Nobody's Baby and raise you one Pat Benatar's Somebody's Baby ( a song done about homeless folks -it used to depress me so much I would not play it off her album for years because it was that sad). Now I do what I can here and there, but not likely as much as I should.

I see your 'I want Out' and raise you one classic 1979 or so Pat Benatar 'I want out'. The guitar is much better than it is on this super old youtube of it and the song is better, the low sound makes it not pop how it does on vinyl.
