    I am asking myself if Russian players will get different prices in the item shop because of their different economy. And if so, will this disrupt the market?

    This is very concerning. Usually different markets expect different pricing. It could be terrible for the current game economy if the prices don't match, but it could also be a disaster for the Russian players if things are priced too high.

    It's odd this wasn't mentioned by the devs earlier about what the plans were for this. Very upsetting!

    When I translate that to Russian and then back into English is says the game is going to be a first person shooter that controls your mind. :cool:

    Good to see this official response. It would seem like the whole "conspiracy" thing could have been avoided if an announcement had been made like Hey, The Russians are coming :)

    U.S. Dollar of game is $39.99. Russian Ruble price of ₽699, converted to USD is $12.06. 69.85% off. Will the cash shop also be that much cheaper for them? If everyone is on the same server can I make a Russian account and then sell to the American people and make massive profits?

    How will the consistent cheaper rate for Russians work in keeping the RMT values up if everyone is on the same server? Russian Ruble price is constantly way cheaper converted on game prices than the USD. How will they put up paying for RMT items at the full USD converted rate? If they get their accustomed lower rate, how will that not devalue the US RMT?

    Many more specific questions left unanswered on specifics, other than simply "the Russians are here".

    The add on store pricing will not be the same as the Steam pricing.

    So everyone will be on the same server? The cash shop in all countries will be the full USD converted value, despite specific countries used to having much cheaper prices in all things, not just Steam pricing?

    Good Grief. To all our new Russian players and old, welcome and can't wait to meet you in game. Last time I checked Port doesn't own Russia. Other country's always have different monetary values. I welcome everyone from as many country's as we can get interested in playing. Let's not stifle free commerce quite yet.:)

    I don't really understand why people are surprised by this. They've mentioned the partnership quite a few times in various release notes as well as the official message from back in May that @Berek linked above. But, in case people weren't aware, we're also partnering with Travian (to stave off another panic thread down the road if/when other locations gets their own websites).

    In fairness.. I think some were taken by surprise. Sometimes I think people forget that there are those who do not have the time to read every jot and tittle about the game.

    Combing through the voluminous archives (even if we had a decent search function) would be a huge time consuming task
