    Please have a Name Filter in Character Creation. Those PKer names and vulgar names really have to go...please. Please! :D

    Yes IF it is well thought out, and not a mess like the existing UO filter...

    There, for example, you can have the skill title 'Assassin', but never have that as part of your name because the filter picks up parts of words. Similarly there is indeed grass in the fields, but the filter thinks otherwise. Words like quantity or grape can get filtered, it's just silly beyond belief at times.

    I'd argue for 'sensible' names that fit with the world, since it's impossible to get proper immersion in a game where the names are all childish puns, cultural references or mixtures of 'leetspeak' capitalisation and numbers.

    Also, if at all possible, unique names please. There are not many things as frustrating as building a reputation for your character, only to see it ruined by some jerk taking the same name and copying your clothing style as a griefing tactic to try trashing your standing in a community....
