    Cool, I'll play with this one for a while, I have dodge and evasion both at GM (105 dodge, 100 evasion) in light armor, so hopefully that's good enough for now. ;)

    But that gives a negative to avoidance.

    But who needs 33% or how much a Glancing blow reduces less damage from a Glancing blow when you can take 100% less damage even from spells! I mean it mostly depends on the gear you are wearing IMO, but I had 10 avoidance, So I preferred trading those 10 points for 20 points of dodge. If I get hit, I get hit harder, but dodging spells as well as physical attacks was a good enough trade.

    Now I would never recommend that to someone wearing heavy armor mind you, only light armor peeps

    It's all about the math...and don't forget the importance of focus in the Air-Tactics specialization build. It has changed the way I make armor and bows now... been giving new players free bows, probably made wrong if they are going to "LOOK" at it...

    It improves the damage done by a critical in a pretty massive way though. I thought that was the point, to showcase the big crits. Maybe I am wrong. I also did notice about 13 or 14 shots in a row without a single crit.

    Its actually you only take 1/3rd of the damage from a glancing blow not reduce the damage 1/3rd. But yes, dodge is better when it happens, I just wanted to make note of its has a negative.

    Backstab gives a straight damage bonus (around +20% at GM I believe). You only get that bonus if you're within a narrow arc behind your opponent. If you use Blind, then you can crit nearly every shot (base attacks only) as long as you are not within that narrow arc. Getting a critical hit for every shot is way more effective than that 20% bonus.

    So are you saying blind *is* good for archers? :) Trying to figure out what my bars should be.

    Blind is always good IMO, but highly dependent on what you are fighting. A mob with less than 500 HP might not be worth it, I actually prefer to use blind on bosses who have some sort of mechanic that stops me from attacking, such as a troll who is stomping, I'll jump and start casting blind mid air, or one who is running, I'll start casting it as I am running towards it.

    It mostly depends on what you are fighting honestly, Blind is useless against low HP mobs because it will die too fast, but is also fairly useless against a few enemies at the same time.

    I would recommend having a movement skill (dash, blink), Berserkers stance, dodge, a healing spell or two, disabling shot (to slow down single targets running at you) OR root (if it isnt immune to it), and then the rest is optional depending on your playstyle and what you are fighting, Mac could probably suggest some other must haves, I've been busy respeccing 4 times already this patch, I'm getting confused.

    Blind is awesome for base attack (auto-attack/free-attack) but seems to be worthless for weapon skills (like Aimed Shot).

    Really? Havent ever noticed! Granted I barely use it cause 10 seconds is too short for me to bother... gosh I hate short duration stuff...

    Thanks Mac! That's close to what I have, I'll adjust. So far, this build is slower than my previous build, but I'm sure that's just me getting used to it. While I was getting ~800 crits testing this build against the practice dummy, in Elysium mines against the Satyrs, the highest I got was ~430. Most were 200-300. When I attacked a Skeleton mage, I finally got 732.

    Damage resistance, all your other skills except piercing shot would do less as well. And could just be the rng of the damage range.
