    Title: Kinga Gives me the wrong seasonal quest right now.

    Details: Kinga gives me the Pumpkin Head quest instead of the Krampus Quest right now.
    Steps to Reproduce: Go to Kinga, ask "Rumors" and you get the wrong quest.

    Pumpkin Head's foot soldiers are around all year long. She should only be giving out the quest to get one of their heads. If this is the quest you got, then this is correct and not a bug.

    OK I think I get how this is working now (this is something we didn't even know, just FYI).

    If a player has not gotten the Pumpkinhead quest before, if they speak to Kanga or Ronin, they will give the Pumkinhead quest. The player can then proceed to overland Traveler encounters in the Drachvald region. Pumpkinhead will show up in those in those encounters IF they do have the Pumpkinhead quest.

    Then(?) if they finish the Pumkinhead quest, if they speak to Kanga or Ronin again, they will get the Krampus quest, if they have not done that quest before?

    When Pumpkin Head first came into the game, Kinga or Ronin offered the original Pumpkin Head quest only during the season when Pumpkin Head was spawning. This original quest could only be completed when Pumpkin Head was spawning. This original quest is no longer offered, but characters who were already on this quest can still complete it and turn it in. A second quest was added when the original stopped being offered. The second quest is also from Kinga/Ronin, independent of the original, and can be accepted any time of the year. Neither original nor second quest is repeatable.Also, Pumpkin Head still only appears during his season; his appearance is not affected by a character's quest state.

    The Krampus-themed quest is similar to the second/current Pumpkin Head quest. You can acquire and complete the Krampus quest any time of the year. Also, Krampus only appears during his season; his appearance is not affected by a character's quest state.

    The reason why we now do all-year quests for seasonal monsters (instead of only-during-the-season quests) is because they're confusing to players who want to acquire or complete them off-season and, frankly, it's a mild nuisance to change quests to be "on" and "off." This is why Pumpkin Head's original off-season quest was decommissioned and the all-year quest was added.

    OK, so can I, or can I not go to where I would normally find Pumpkinhead and fight him?

    Also, is there no way to get the Krampus quest until the Pumpkinhead quest is finished? If there isn't, there really should be. Possibly have one child give the Pumpkinhead quest and the other give the Krampus quest.

    @AoiBlue, this is still marked [Needs More Info] because you have not clarified whether the quest you got is the old one that requires you to kill pumpkinhead himself and could only be done during his spawning season or the new quest that requires only that you kill his minions until a pumpkinhead drops from them, which can be done at any time of year.
