Yeah, I know, thanks. It is great image, I have managed to find it, it is not free in svg format :-/

I hope that artist here will be able to come up with something similar.

OK, I think this is all I can do at this point and I really need help from artists with charges, because both are stolen from internet™ and I am not able to make vector graphics:)

I am happy with this design for now and I am not aware of any major issues with it so I would like to submit it or something. I might want to change it after I see final charges and I might want to try serpenty or phoenixy furs for bordure once they are available though, I hope it will be possible. Anyway here it is:

    Sir Nic,
We can take it from here. Might be a day or so. We already have the mortar and pestle, a nice one :) The owl we are working on. Bear with us, I think everyone is more interested in exploring the game for bugs :)

I can understand that, I hope I will spend most of Sunday in the game myself:)

:) Yes, I just finished the owl charge yesterday. The mortar and pestle and owl charges are on our drive.

Someone pick this up and run with it cause I think its gonna be cool looking.

Is that Displayed, or Volant Affronte?

The one I did is what I term "striking", so more of the Volant Affronte.

Well, I was not sure where to post my questions and I decided to bump my thread, rather then start a new one or post in private one. I watched the heraldry hangouts, it was surprisingly interesting.

    Anyway, few questions.

Do all furs have the rule of tincture? I am speaking about draconny here, I think that some combinations (e.g. azure and celeste, vert and viridian, gules and sanguine) would work rather well, I do not think that orange and or are that different even though it is metal and color and they do look great.

Will you add additional "wall" fur (see image below)? I think it would be great for walls, castles and towers.

And back to my CoA, who is responsible for my thread now?

I think that my stolen owl is void or transparent or whatever which is now illegal. I saw the owl charge in the video, it seemed fairly similar to what I want but I would love to see larger image. I need to decide whether I want to change the color of the owl or the chevron, I think I would like to keep the argent fimbriation but it dependes on how the final charge looks like.

I believe we're just waiting to be able to go through and approve the needed charges. We should get that done sometime this week or early next week, hopefully. We're running a touch behind because of massive reorganization and turmoil in the personal life of several of the Sovereigns.

Oh, I see. You need to approve the charges first and it will happen probably the next Tuesday? And then you can get back to me, right?

It will happen Soon™. *chuckles* We're hoping to get through at least a good chunk of the submitted charges before next Tuesday, but there are a lot of them, and if there are any problems with it it would take longer, or if we have scheduling issues, etc. But as soon as we get it approved someone should get back to you, yes.

Are the charges approved? I think I saw an owl in the Heraldy Hangout video.

We've got a mortar and pestle waiting for an artist to get in the correct format.
We've got an owl waiting for another vote, only 2 of the 5 voting members have cast their vote.

There are 5 voting members, with 3 needed to pass.
The owl has 2 votes in favor.
One voting member wants changes made, but no artist has taken on the task.
Two other voting members haven't commented.

However, I think it's safe to say the blazon is good.
It's just getting it drawn properly is the sticking point.
There's nothing preventing you from using the design above until we squeeze an approved version out of the artists.

The approved owl will be less of an outline.
    More or less like this:

Thank you for your answer, that reminds me, would it be possible to use brown owl with argent (white) fimbriation?

I think that should be possible.
    And I think it's legal.
And, brown with argent fimbriation on black sounds a lot better than brown on black.

I have heard that I can have Coat of Arms for each character and I should have three characters now.

So the first one should be as described above, except top charge should be brown striking owl with white fimbriation and bottom one should be mortar and pestle (ash with sable fimbriation)

The second one would be blue and sable draconny

The third one would be sable with brown owl fimbriated argent, if it is possible.
