New bear!

We have a new tamable bear in Ulfheim called the Ferocious patriarch bear, he has more hp then a Darkstar Corpion. We also have a Large Obsidian Bear in Ruined Keep same level and hp as the Fero bear. I'm looking for Wyverns and I'll test the ancient bear once someone gets on to tank him while I tame him.

 

Pawz you have to be the most excited tamer in SotA.

 

Also seen a Ferocious Brown Bear in Ruined Keep

 

Can you comfirm the anchient ob is working?

And what taming does the wyvern require. : /

 

I didn't see any ancient obsidian bears spawn, I'm wondering if they made it super rare or just got rid of it all together. I haven't found a Wyvern yet.

 

Fero patriarch mine has 1646 hp hits for 46-57 on a dummy. ;( not good if your fighting high leveld armored targets.

I think the taming req is the same as red fero and DS corp.

The large obsidian bear seams to be on par with the fero patriarch 1646 hp also.

 

Yeah all lev 79, my bears have 1838 hp and seem to fight ok. I'm waiting for Devil to get on so we can go inside the fort and see if they moved the bear.

 

What increases HP ? Taming Spec. ?
My Ferocious Bear Pat is at 1461 HP
I have
147 taming
100 Taming Spec.
121 Combat training
The rest are at 100/GM
Except Res 65

 

Summoning is important also.

 

Summoning, combat training and taming spec all add hp.

 

they may have said oh that's gonna be too strong an may have removed the Ancient Obsidian Bear...… one of the things I have been fearing....

 

Also you gotta remember chris posted along time ago when they were putting out the specialization, it was stated tamers will need all skills in taming tree at 100 for the full power,

not to be sure what exactly full power is suppose to be due to them not being that strong but hey lol. an I can't remember exactly but combat training and summoning are the 2 skills besides specialization that give hp..... but after a point both give nothing of use I think one was 121 or something an the other around 110

 

@Pawz can you remember what it was that was stated was the max you wanna do in combat training and summoning for your pet before it got you nothing? I can't find the old post on it.... thinking it was Weins who posted it lol

 

128 in combat training and 121 in summoning.

  High Level Bears: We have adjusted the highest level bears in the highest level scenes (Tier 6+) for challenge and taming purposes. These bears had some duplicate names and when tamed would appear as lower level bears. This has all been addressed and new bears have been introduced. @DarkStarr Is the Obsidian destroyer on QA now? I saw about 8 high level tamers on QA much of yesterday and none of us found a ferocious obsidian bear or a Obsidian destroyer bear?
