New Creature Type Suggestion: Brownies

Here is an, on paper, easy idea for a new monster/NPC type to create, as it only requires color changes and size scaling, perhaps some custom new skills or spells. You can make them good or evil, or both.

In Everquesst, they too had an issue with not alot of character models to work with. The solution for a Brownie, was to scale down humanoid elf characters to where they are like waist high, and then give the a darker, ruddy appearance and ragged clothes

Most often, however, they are found in the Faydark Forest, where their isolationist communities keep to themselves in the darkest corners of the great woods. Anyway, I thought this is a legimate work around to adding another, race/npc/mob type. It seems all one would have to do is scale down the model size... I'd make them like druids where they can either blind or root or dot you etc...

Ultima had a history of Gremlins stealing food. What about a small creature that suppresses food buffs (probably not forever, just until the gremlins are killed; some food is way to expensive to have it poof). Use tiny versions of the elf models and give them autumn-style wings and they could easily be a brownie/gremlin/boggart style creature.
