New Ornate Cooking Items & Cooking Stations [Buffs = added bonus]

Just realized you can't place them [cooking items/new ornate cooking items] currently on cooking stations.
Would love to place the frying pan, pots, etc, on the station instead of next to the station on the table.
Also, would it be possible when placing relevant cooking items on the cooking station to receive some sort of crafting benefit? [e.g. frying pan on station gives +/- chance for % of some buff or adverse affect* being added]

Regarding adverse affects: trying to fry a fish with a pot instead of a pan may end with disastrous results.
