New Player Looking for some answers

I finished the beginning quest but only got a Player row deed , no house deed ,did i not finish ?did i miss something ?
Next , where is a good good player town i can put a house at as I am new and dont really see many players on.
Also looking for a Guild to join.

row lots come with a built-in house, it's not a seperate item like it is when you eventually get the village deed for completing the main questline.

 

Well, it can be a separate item if you want. You can upgrade your basic row house to a different one if you like.

 

You can also upgrade the deed which you can see by right clicking on it, should you want a bigger place, a tax-free place, or one not in the player owned town. It's definitely something you need to hold onto.

Also from doing the questlines you do get a free village deed as well which as mentioned doesn't include a house deed just land. You can also craft or have someone craft you a different row house to replace the default row house. Have it in your inventory and select change house. You can get a basement as well as a dungeon also.

** Do not forget to talk to the Oracle every day to get rent money and xp. Select test and answer the question.

Also I have a book of instructions in the Oracle on a stand and tips around town in Wizards Rest which is behind Owlshead in Hidden Vale. All vacant lots in town are claimable if you like the town. that is not true. the quest reward is a village deed AND a free house, as a seperate item.
