    Hi all,

I started playing SOTA earlier this week. Frankly, I'm a little sad I hadn't discovered the game until now; it's awesome! I played UO as a kid back in the '90s, and I've been looking for a game like SOTA for a long time.

I know the player base is rather small right now, and there are a ton of housing options. Is there a particular area where most (or a good amount) of active players call home? Any tips on where I should make my first home? Thanks in advance, and I hope to see you in-game.

There are two things to consider.
    1. Places to put your vendor.
    2. Places to place your home.

Soltown, Ardoris, and Brittany Alleys are NPC-owned places where there are good enough traffic for vendors to be effective. Soltown has no more space at the moment while the latter two has some row home spots available.
For player-owned towns, New Crafters town (Near Brittany) is currently the most active one. Haven Ridge (Near Castle Atos) is closely the second.

If you want a house that can act as a place to sell stuff in a NPC-owned town, then Brittany Alleys is probably the only place that has enough spaces. If not, try asking for those two player-owned towns.
If you want a house that is just comfy and quiet, there are a lot of places right now. You just need to move a bit away from the major cities.
