Night Sight - could it vanish with sunrise? :)

Dear Dev.,

it would be great, if the night sight would vanish with first sunrise.
Sometimes I think I play most time in darkness ...

Beside this: it makes no sense to see a dark screen, if the sun rose

why is it important to have night sight when it is day?
An example for it where it is useful?

To specify what I meant:
I don't think this should happen, while we are UNDER earth (mining...).
Just when travelling on earth to recognize "ah, it's day"

 

Night Sight has the unique aspect of giving you the ability to see into deep shadows. If I don't want it on them I can simply right click the icon under my name and dismiss it.

 

Night sight should theoretically burn your retina during day-time.

Shouldn't there be? I thought that was the entire point of SotA; sucking the fun out of a game for "realism"'s sake.

 

Recommend using Barugon's suggestion of right clicking and dismissing it. You can right click on a lot of buffs and dismiss them.

 

This is what night vision really looks like in RL.

See that bright spot on the ground? That's made by a flashlight and could blind you if the light wss pointed directly your way.

 

Inside of night vision goggles, you're looking at an electronic display. You can't become blind by looking at your monitor and you can't become blind by looking through night vision goggles.
