So is the katana only a two-handed sword?

Can we have it also be a one-handed sword for dual wielding purposes.

Miyamoto Musashi* used to use two swords, although the off hand wasn't another katana but the shorter wakasashi. And since this is a fantasy game, and we already have some ridiculous size swords, dual wielding two full size katanas would not be stretch at all.

Maybe you could add the shorter wakasashi and even a dagger-sized tanto. These patterns could be dropped by mobs in the Ardoris region.

It seems you wouldn't even need to create new models, since they all seem to have the same shape; just different lengths.

*Musashi's style was called Niten Ichi-Ryu (2 heavens as one school).

 

Mushashi used the weapon that worked best against the enemy he was facing ^^ In SotA he would be a hybrid mage I suppose
