No Fireworks Holiday Gift

Have logged off and back on - made sure I was updated to the latest release - and still no 2015 Holiday Gift: Fireworks in my Bank.

 

Same here. I don't have them.

I'm hoping the people that didn't get them instead get a lup of valuable coal that can be used to make fantastic armor.

 

It wasn't listed as "2015 Holiday Gift: Fireworks" for me. Just search "Fireworks" in the search filter.

 

I know. Just wanted to be clear as to what was missing.

 

Attenwood, just to be clear. We're not reporting that we purchased an item from the add-on store. It's our understanding that all players were given a FREE item called "2015 Holiday Gift: Fireworks" that includes 15 yellow, blue, and red fireworks for one time use. We're saying this isn't in our bank.

Should we still send an email to support? This seems like it's probably a wider issue than just us. Maybe a database issue?

 

Ahhhh. Okay. That's what I get for speed reading. And even more curious. I'll write it up, as I'm not sure what the support side would be able to do about it. Thanks for the clarification BDF.

I'm going to be looking into this more today, can I confirm first: are you all looking for a single item in your inventory with the "gift" nomenclature, or just for the fireworks?

I just double checked. Neither "gift" nor "fireworks brings anything up.

BTW, this seems like a perfect opportunity to add "Coal" to the accounts of people who missed out on the holiday gift. I'd really like to make coal armor.

 

Cannot speak for everyone, but I am indeed well-rested and well-recharged from a Christmas break spent enjoying my wife and son's time. Happy to be back in the pixel mines today!!!

Did you search your inventory or bank for the "gift" and "firework" text?

Both the bank and inventory.

NOTE: I purchased fireworks from the add-on store. I had those replenishing boxes in my bank (quantity of 50) but I never had anything with a single quantity of 15. Hope this helps.

 

Do me a favor, please, Baron Drocis, next time you log in check your bank again for "fireworks" and let me know if you find anything. I am exploring angles as to what is going on... Thanks!

 

I now have 15 red, 15 blue, and 15 yellow.

 

How do the fireworks work?

I never receive the firework :/ I guess it's too late now.

I have searched inventory and bank each day for Fireworks and so far nothing.

Edit: @Chaox - again sorry - I didn't answer all the questions. I have been looking specifically for 3 items
1. Fireworks (Blue Rocket)
2. Fireworks (Red Rocket)
3. Fireworks (Yellow Rocket)

Just checking on whether that was ever a resolution on this. I know others didn't receive these as well.

 

The fix that went out should have resolved this for most people. At the moment, there is not much more we are able to do. A wipe will be going out for R26 within a week, which would remove these altogether. Changes were made that should fix distribution of items like this for the future, however.
