[No Repro] Swapping out summoning whistle causes skill to stop working

Details:
summoned pet, pet subsequently died, rezzed pet, realized i had the wrong pet out and swapped taming colors and summoning skill remained greyed out (I verified pet i was trying to summon was within my skill level)

Steps to Reproduce:
tried swapping out various whistles, no luck. left scene, logged out to menu screen, logged back in, still no luck. logged all the way out of game, on return i was able to summon pet - yay! pet did not die this time, swapped out whistle, skill got greyed out again, same problem, unable to summon a pet again.

Are you swapping them out through the deck system (setting it as your alt, or manually selecting it) or are you taking it in and out of the paperdoll slot? And were you in combat at the time?

Not sure if related, but "taming" glyph is now disappearing off the non-combat bar completely. Might be a coincidence, but you never know. I have not bugged it yet because I am working on the reproduction steps.

 

i was swapping it out using the paperdoll slot, does swapping decks keep that from happening?

While testing internally, this behavior seems like it's expected. There is a taming resummon debuff that prevents players from summoning within a period of time after a tamed pet is already summoned. Could that be the case observed?

We're not seeing any other breaks occurring.

 

the taming resummon debuff was not active at the time..... I will attempt it again and report my results

 

tried it out, unable to reproduce the bug, things seemed to be working as you said sooo.... not sure what was happening there. i'll keep trying over the next couple days but it seems all good.
