    Greetings Avatars,

    In the wilderness of the Verdantis and Norgard regions hordes of barbarians and cannibals hold sway and terrorize the inhabitants. Occupied with their fruitless war with the Kobolds the Norgard nobility and military do little to keep the barbarian raids under control, only protecting the largest cities.

    The barbarian clans each identify with an animal totem and the Dragon clan is the most fearsome.

    In Release 49 we will be updating the existing placeholder NPCs with this custom art.

    The new clothing looks really cool, and I'm excited to get someone other than bandits to kill! The idea of totems are intriguing as well; will there be other assets with these depictions (like engravings on standing stones)?

    A whole clan dedicated to a creature we don't have yet! Pig placeholders!

    Nice stuff. but I wonder what it says about the game that all, or nearly all but I can't remember seeing any, npcs were cloth or leather armor. Doesn't anyone, except outlanders, where chain or plate armor?

    Great to see NPC's getting changed from placeholder examples. Hopefully its a trend that is going to continue with many others. These new ones look fantastic !

    I love the overall idea.

    But sorry, they are not fearsome enough in my opinion. Something is missing.

    I hardly can imagine that those guys want to eat my flesh or that they are living in the harshest conditions.

    Maybe some war paintings on their skins ? Rotten blood paintings on the armors ? Some human skin ? Human skulls ? Something which would show their obstinacy ?
