Title: Dye remover does not return Royal Elderberry seed
    Reproduction Rate: 100%
    Blocker? No
Details: I have several pieces of clothing that have the Royal Purple dye on them. An example is below. I used dye remover to get back the seed on the Flechier Jacket, but it seems this has destroyed the seed? Is that intended? I thought the seed was eternal? How do I get back the seed now? Please don't tell me I'm SOL :-( Other than re-dying the leggings and *hoping* to get back the seed, what options do I have here?

Steps to Reproduce: Use dye remover on an item that is dyed Royal Purple.

@Fionwyn Wyldemane, you should have gotten the seed back when you used the royal purple dye. subsequent changes to the clothing have nothing to do with it.

Someone else applied the dye. I removed it and did not get the seed back.

I have three more pieces of clothing to remove the dye from, but if I am not getting the seed back, that's a problem.

as stated when the Dye is applied that is when you get the seed back. You did not buy the Seed you bough a purple Dyed Piece of clothing. It is was sold to you that you would get the seed back you where scammed.

    Sorry

BTW you should get the seed back when you make the dye but the Elderberry System was a complete farce from inception.

Ok, thanks for the education. I had no idea that was how it worked. Never did it before :)

We should bug report this again and see if we can get it fixed, I'd love to have a backlog of dye for the next time I want to do an entire outfit at once...

BTW, I bought the clothes from @Sir Stile Teckel who I trust 100%. He is looking into this on his end to see if the seed somehow returned to him. I'm holding off removing any more dye. I honestly don't understand *how* the seed could return to him. Would it go in his bank? In his inventory? Seems BS to me for it to work that way.

The seed is recreated when the dye is applied. No one is going to get a seed from removing the dye from clothing.

it's never worked like that. when you make the dye, the seed goes in the bottle with the rest of the berry. when you use the dye, you get returned the solid bit that's left. ...and the seed cycle vastly predates the addition of dye remover to the store. why would you be required to buy something to get your seed back?

again the the seed appears when they dye is used. so whenever he dyed the items the seed appeared. If he did not make the dye or tr is was made from another char then the seed will go to whomever MADE the dye. or possibly even the original plant owner.

again the system is a complete jumble, but the person removing the dye will not get a seed.

Ok, got you!! It's been ages since I dyed anything with my RP Dye. I thought the seed came back when you removed the dye, but you're right, it comes back when you use the dye, I just tested it. Ugh...too many details, not enough brainpower.
