[Not a bug] South Broken Road - Orator give Essence, but it is not in inventory

    Title: South Broken Road - Orator gives Essence , but it is not in inventory. The remaining quest cannot be solved because of that.
    Reproduction Rate: 100%
    Blocker: Yes
    Details: Item not in inventory after he gives it the first time. After come back and if you ask for it he says "oh you were not fast enough here is another." it is still not in your inventory
    Steps to Reproduce: Talk to the Orator and say "Help". Or after coming back the next time: type "essence" in conversation.

    @MichaelG, as a quest item, it's hidden by default. click the gear in the upper right corner and show quest items, then see if it's there at the bottom of the list in gold.

    Yes. This was the case. I had the setting 'Hide Quest Items' enabled. My bad. Thank you. It is no bug!

    oh good. ...i'm not sure who added [Known] to your thread title, but since it's [not a bug], you should change it now. you can edit the thread title: there's a "thread tools" menu on the right just above the first post that has the option.
