NPC: Digit the Mage (Ardoris)

When I started playing sota in R29, I heard an NPC in Ardoris talking about a mage in waterfront buying ectoplasms. So I looked up this thread to find him, went there, but could not get him to offer me full price for them.
Did not think much about it, but just went back, and its still not working. I have talked followed his conversation tree, as well as trying to ask about "undead", "ectoplasm", "ectoplasmic" - no response.

So, has that quest been removed? If so, it'd be nice to note that somewhere, as all google matches say the quest still exists. And if the rumor is still told, then obviously remove that.

If I am doing something wrong: Please tell me, and take this as feedback that it is too hard to figure out.

 

Thats outdated quest text... once upon a time only certain will buy ectoplasm but currently every merchant will buy it, and all of them will give you the same price.

To the devs: please remove the rumor if it still exists (it was there in R29).
And players googling for it hopefully will find this thread ;-)
