NPC's & Guards killing cats in Towns?

    Are the NPC's and/or Guards in Scenes supposed to be killing cats? Saw two guards in Aerie attack one Cat and kill it a bit ago...what is the justification/explanation for that?

    Guards who slay cats should turn neutral to us, such that we can attack them to protect and avenge the cats! Of course the rest of the town guards could then all attack us to defend/avenge their cat-slaying brethren... NPC towns could become new "adventure" areas as cat lovers battle guards to save the cats. Maybe guards can drop halberds for us to sell or salvage ;)

    Finally! There are so many good things can be done with a dead cat.
    • Nail a dead cat to a door to ward off evil cat spirits
    • Turn a dead cat carcass into taco meat
    • Make a fur coat
    • Make fun little collectibles with cute little cat skulls
    • Dead cats are easy to juggle / excellent training tools when you're just learning to juggle
    • Dead cats bounce - could make a game of it... Dead Cat Tossing

    Actually, looking at the 484 build notes, this might be intentional *sad face*:

    • Because SOME PEOPLE ARE SO HORRIBLE AND BAD you can now kill cats. However, cats have 9 lives...

    Cats being attackable is intentional, NPCs going out of their way to kill them is a bug.
