Observatory Observation

Could this be where the idea for the observatory came from?

Almost undoubtedly... I've been there... I worked on his Spookhouse in 1994 and spent a couple weeks of evenings in his wine cellar.

 

AAhhh, the illuminati are confirmed to be real - quick put on your Pointy Magical Hats and run for the closest dungeon.

Only going under ground like the novian forebears will save us now.....

well you wouldn't want it in the walls anyway, too much light pollution.

Village home.
So pretty much everything between 25-100 USD is possible.

 

There's Plenty of space outside the walls. The half of the scene east of the river is mostly empty. I have an allergy to Taxes though, and I don't want this enough to purchase another Village bundle for the rent-free deed.

 

Some might like the observatory tower part as a free standing structure like the bell tower, so it could be placed on the roof of a larger home, or in other possible setups.

Are there plans for that?

 

I you peer through the telescope what exactly do you see? It sais that looking through the telescope will show you the constellations much like using the the Moondial or astrolabe, but all I see when I click that, is the Moondial turning. If we peer through the telescope do we see the heavenly skies, stars, galaxies, planets? Or a depiction of contellations?

 

when you use a moondial, after you see the turning animation, look up at the sky. (at night)

the observatory combines two effects: the zoom of a telescope or spyglass, if you can find one to try out, and the highlighting of constellations like a moondial or astrolabe

rethinking my village water spot. I might move to a land spot that’s a little further from town. Observatory looks really cool.
