In R55 I claimed property for the first time in an offline game.

I was very pleased to discover that I was able to claim a lot with a POT lot deed that I had on my account.
I was pleased to see that the daily tax for a row house was only 100g, but I would like there to be no tax. I will not be able to fulfill my dream of decorating a whole town if I have to pay tax in addition to buying lots, houses and decorations with in-game gold.

I agree, taxes should be completely eliminated in the offline mode.

Agreed. You are not denying another player the chance to use the lot, and there is no reason for gold sinks in offline mode, so there should be no taxes. I presume there is also no lot expiration, at least with tax-free deeds?

You would need to stream that when complete. Hi!

The only reason I can think of for taxing lot deeds in offline mode is to perpetuate the advantage that early backers had. But even early backers who play the offline game are sure to want to expand their empire and buy up additional property that they don‘t have to pay taxes on. That is the situation I am in.
