on the clearing of lots

an unclaimed lot in a forest setting has some trees, some wildflowers, maybe a rock or two, and when it's claimed it becomes flat grass. this makes sense for building, but is not very organic-looking if people choose not to build a house. could we have "empty lot" and "uncleared lot" options for those who might want to place just a tent? failing that, can we buy trees?

edit: in fact, i wanna buy trees even if i DO place a house. i know they may stick through the walls if i place them too close, but it's up to me to either arrange it so they don't or live with it.

 

I really like that.
I also would like to have a selection of textures for the ground, dependent on biome.
Looks strange with grass in the city.

 

Good Idea..for slow growing PoTs too

 

For slow growing pots it wouldn't be an issue, since when not claimed the lots will have wilderness on them, with the exception of Row lots which have the default house on them.

This is more for the time between you claim the lot and you build a house.
Or if you don't want to build a house on that lot, just make your own thing, then it would be nice with a bit of wilderness.
