    Hello all,

I've spent 3 hours running around Kas Ruins... I have searched high and low, ran away from the fire bird who wants to eat me for lunch and as far as I can tell opened every door in the zone.

How the heck are we supposed to find these pages? Is there some piece of information I'm missing?

Not looking for a full on spoiler persay... but in general... how the heck are we supposed to find these pages?

The geography of the map gives you an idea of which underground locations to check out.

SOTAmap is also a helpful resource, although not all the maps are up to date.

Thanks to both of you for your responses.

Unfortunately the map does not match the zone at all... and as for doors... I've now gone through the entire zone and killed everything (except the bird) twice more with no luck at all. I've found the lift which takes me to the same area I can access via stairs / skyrim jumping... but even there - dead ends.

What does this mean? "The geography of the map gives you an idea of which underground locations to check out."

There are no underground areas to check out - there's a creek and a path up to a castle.

Is finding the pages like this in all the ruins?

Yes and no. Some are harder to find then others, and the Kas Ruins Vault was one of the harder ones, but I personally had the most trouble with the Midras Ruins one.

I think discipleofweb meant using the ALTERNATE method of going through the Underground Passages (i.e. Spindrift Passage, Serpents Mine, etc)
And No, Many of the Ruins are not that hard to find the entrance.

Ok, this is not an EXACT Location...but read on only if you want a closer clue.
Focus your search in the ruins up near the Phoenix at the top of the cliff. There should be a wall which is not exactly what it seems. Its been a few weeks for me, so I'm just going from memory but I think I giving a correct clue. :)

Yeah Kas and Libris still have old cloned SOTAmaps.

For Kas ruins, look for a bookcase with a hidden lever. Not sure how to get to it though. I prefer the route thru K'rawl and jumping off the mine cart in the upper right corner of the map. The tunnel leads to the vault.

I mean the geography of the world map in relation to the ruins and nearby underground areas.

The quest journal entries are not so explicit, but the pages you need are not in the actual scenes listed... they are located inside the "Vault" for any of those listed as a Ruin. For example, you won't find the page in Kas Ruins, but you will find it in Kas Ruins Vault.

    Hope that helps.

The Kas Ruins Vault entrance is in the old castle up top of the hill, near the Phoenix.

Easiest way to get there is to take the elevator up (once at the top, you can run around and jump over the wall to the left.

Once you are up top, skirt the left edge and enter the open wall of the castle. There should be a book case straight ahead to the left. Click the hidden lever to enter that room with the vault entrance.

Thank you guys - I wound up finding Kas' page and a number of others. The spoilers above do indicate the location for Kas if you need it.

What about Brittany? Is it connected to the sewers?

Spoony has the clue to find the page in the castle. Have a musical instrument ready.

FWIW I would have NEVER in a million years anticipated that annoying riddling **** Spoony was the clue to the riddle because most everything he says is nonsense EXCEPT when he's talking about Lord British. That and the fact that he was a new NPC added when they added the pages which I didn't know either. All in all Brittany page is the worst implemented one IMO.

Be careful though the wall is on a timer and you can be locked inside.

Ah.. good call.. but I think they made arrangements for that, perhaps in a patch?

There was a lute in the chest when I opened it the 2nd time around, to clear a broken journal entry
