Currently there are a few interesting threads about story, quests, journal, quality of life ... and also about the question of consequences ...

Referring to THIS thread I just wanted to provide some feedback about expectations and possibilities :)

I think, expectations were much higher about that point, based on information like
Lord British's Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues Analysis or
RTX 2013: Richard Garriott & Shroud of the Avatar

Expectations about how ONE person may change the whole world.
Some things are - for logical reasons - not possible in most cases.

Related to the story: When a player's action would be final - the main paths could be finished only one time! Only ONE player could wear the shroud, only one player wear the crown, only one player own the mace ;)

Currently, behavior of our Avatar raises / lowers stats on special Quest items, like Shroud, Crown and Mace AND the "test" with the Oracle. That's all.
We can influence this by giving gold to beggars, telling the truth, ...

Unfortunately our behavior is not used to have more effects on items / skills, or people/animals we meet in game!

There would be huge possibilities to have more interesting consequences with our decisions and our behvior in this world ...
    - what armor / weapon stuff we are wearing / using,
    - whom we were / are helping,
    - what skills we are using in which areas,
    - which animals we are attacking (before they attacking us!)

--> This could give some kind of NEUTRAL / POSITIVE (friendly) / NEGATIVE (aggressive) STATUS when we meet someone <--

    Some examples:
    - to be a GM in DEATH MAGIC could make Undead NEUTRAL, until WE attack them
    - to be a GM in LIFE MAGIC could make Undead more AGGRESSIVE, human encounters more NETURAL.
--> Of course, if someone would be GM in both, the higher Attunement could count <--

    - to have a black Shroud (as a result of more bad decisions) could make Obisidian Order NEUTRAL, until WE attack them

    - wearing HEAVY ARMOR could make Barbarians aggressive
    - wearing LIGHT (or BONE) ARMOR could make Barbarians NETURAL

    - wearing ARTIFACTS could result in AGGRESSIVE, NEUTRAL or POSITIVE behavior from enemies, like
--> wearing Troll belt could make Trolls more aggressive than normal!
--> wearing items made of flesh / Bones could make Zombies / Skeletons more aggressive ...

    - using special skills near enemies could do the same
--> Light could make Undead more aggressive
--> Night vision in combination with shadow form / sneaking skills could make us more invisible to enemies in dungeons (example: they could only see us if we are next to them!)

    - Having a tamed pet beside us could make special pets more friendly, like walking around with a tamed Obsidian Bear could make bears around very friendly, may be Obsidian bears neutral ...
--> getting attacked by other Enemies (for example: Skeletons) could provide help from other enemies (or at least neutral behavior, instead of attacking us)

    - summoning Elementals could also get into a NEUTRAL, NEGATIVE or POSITIVE behavior of encounters connected to a differnt element!

    Well, @Lord British, @DarkStarr, @Chris, possibilites for Episode 2? :)

... means what exactly? Watch to the right side - and see ... (there are no) consequences ? ;)
