Our subreddit has new moderation!

Berek already has full control of the official sota one - that is the reason why so few post there. Players going to reddit want a neutral place not controlled by the developers of the game.
So giving control of the /r to a dev would make everyone move over to _raw.

Which means that your suggestion would create more hate vs sota on reddit, not less. Which wouldn't be a smart move in a release year.

 

Indeed, reddit is predominantly community driven, for better or worse... and I'm not sure we can handle two subreddits at the same time anyway .

 

What you've done is fine. I'd say give it time.

 

I like @Freeman 's approach to it. Now if the redditors provide better content than this here, the future is for them. Through the moderation most stuff doesn't even get here. And if I see the things the devs parade on their streams etc... this content most of the time only has single digit views

well... the reddit is still home for people who gets their post deleted here... I had a few of my posts deleted here and even received a few reminders... it's NOT a big deal... if you get a warning or if your posts get deleted... it doesn't mean they hate you...

for example... one of the latest reddit post was about being censored when he was simply asked to post it in the correct forum... the message to him even had a smiley which means it was not malicious or hateful... it was not censorship, it was basic forum housekeeping...
