    In the old day, chaotic shield has 1 glyph only no matter what level it is. If the glyph limitation is changed, stacking multiple bonus from chaotic shield is too strong. Better make some change by lowering the value or only allow 2 bonuses if recast...

    Keep casting chaotic shield will stack multiple bonus. BTW, the negative safe fall modifier is a punishment effect.

    So, I did some testing, and leveled Chaotic Shield to level 20.. I observed being able to cast it multiple times to get additional buffs/debuffs on yourself, so that is verified.

    I noticed it cannot be charged (locked glyph) or stacked (unlocked) ..

    So I am thinking this *might* be intended - ie: you can roll the dice multiple times and accumulate the pros/cons .. ?

    Marking this verified as a bug, since that seems like a lot of buffs for just 1 negative (safe fall modifier) .. if it's intended, then we will find out.

    We were never happy with the design of Chaotic Shield, so it got a full revamp.

    We'll be revealing shortly some spell shield changes where more skills will be considered spell shields (still only 1 shield per tree if it has one, so only 1 active at a time as the usual), but also introducing spell shield specific effects. This means that if you have the relevant school's shield up, it could cause spells like Tabula Rasa, for instance, to have unique features that wouldn't be available otherwise. Expect more of these to be added, all of which will provide more significance to every shield, but also more significance to be specialized.

    Here's the upcoming announcement for Chaotic Shield and Tabula Rasa as an example:

    "Chaotic Shield has been redesigned. This Chaos Magic spell now creates a field of chaotic energy boosting Confusion Resistance, Chaos Bolt Damage, Torpid Torment's focus damage rate and range, Tabula Rasa's range and the chaos mage's Chaotic Feedback skill. Chaos Specialization increases the duration and power of these effects. This spell is considered a shield spell, and only a single shield spell can be active at any given time.

    The Tabula Rasa skill has received additional benefits if Chaotic Shield is active, giving it new abilities that are effective versus players and NPC targets. The spell abilities cause enemy player targets to instantly discard all glyphs which are then replaced with new glyphs from their deck. Chaos Specialization adds a chance to apply a draw speed debuff to enemy player targets. Chaos Specialization also adds a damage-over-time and knockdown effect which affects both enemy player and NPC targets, but only if Chaotic Shield is your active shield spell."

    ngl, I always thought this was a feature rather than a bug, and that it fit well with the tree. Well, nevermind that because the new effects take chaos magic to a much more interesting place, and are implemented and working perfectly in 1505 (and have been for a while, sorry for the delay).
