PaxLair PoT in Early Release - events, news, housing, open to communities

Information Needed​

I'd like to request that everyone with a lot check their information, if it's incomplete, IE: Guild/Town association, Please send me that information. Please make sure I have you listed by your avatar name. If I used your forum name, message me your avatar's name.​

Also all guilds/towns that have lots but names are not filled in I will need those names.​

As of now all lots are allocated. We may have some openings depending on the feed back I get from the guild/towns above.​

Could those wishing to volunteer for the decoration work crew please contact me via forum mail so we can organise a few things beforehand.

how much of a wipe is it going to be? if it is a complete wipe, my house will just have a piano in it.

 

Complete wipe. Only thing you'll have is what your pledge and add-on store purchases give. Plus your friend/guild list.

Are you in the village lot or a row house for the Elder Moot?

I'm not sure which slot Thurisaz has for me.. I have a row or village house deed. i'm Citizen lvl pledge.

The PaxLair Kick Test is not planned yet. Here is how I envision the R17 timeline off the top of my head ...

Timeline Plan​

Prior to R17 Launch:

1. QA Server testing prior to R17 launch. Test allocation, kicking, reallocation, do some stress testing, look for terrain glitches and bugs.
2. Implement communications plan and test -- TS3, Chat Channels, Google Hangouts, plan the Daily Stand Up Schedule Days/Times for first few days (PaxLair has a Google+ Calendar on Avatars Circle Calendar).

R17 Launch (1030 CDT (NBT), April 30, 2015):

1. Allocate lots to everyone (Winfield has Thurs/Fri off work, Sean Silverfoot has Thurs off work).
2. Publicity gets underway (Kazyn Phoenixfyre, Avatars Radio, New Britannia Press, New Britannian News Network, and more).
3. Coordinate Events, announce, publicize, and be ready (Amber Raine and more).
4. Help people gather and distribute materials (NANOC, Themo Lock).
5. Help people decorate (Themo Lock, Gaelis, Sole, and other of the Deco team and PaxLair Furniture Store).
6. Get PaxLair Theater decorated (a HIGH priority for the New Britannia Theater Troupe on Saturday or Sunday).
7. Get 4B Maze started but NOT a stress test (Net and 4B).
8. Set up for tournaments and events in arenas, whichever support PVP.
9. Get pubs, taverns, halls, set up and deco'd.
10. Form a PaxLair Council of some sort (just for R17+) to test government ideas.
11. Cater to Role-playing events and guilds -- be on the watch to be immersed and have fun!
12. Set up visitors centers to help new people and educate them about PoTs.
13. Set up assembly lines for gathering, production, and distribution to people.
14. Hold scheduled and ad hoc events.
15. Lots of news reporting and streaming.

R17 + 2 weeks or more:

1. Some stress testing and lot kicks -- however, this might be completely tested on the QA server.
2. We do not plan to WIPE PaxLair.
3. See who is participating and not participating, so there may be lot turnover (new allocations/kicks).

Sweet! I still need to fix a date for my birthday celebrations. It doesn't help that real life plans are still up in the air.

As I said to Sean I'm awful at decorating so any help from the pros would be most appreciated!

I don't know if anything is "in planning", but I can see what is on the calendars. Phoenix Republic has their Town Hall every other Sunday at 8 PM GMT during the summer months.
