I've been thinking lately on death magic, and necromancy in general. I think the Obsidians where on to something, and I plan to focus on furthering my research on the matter. One day I will unlock the secrets, and and transcend beyond this frail form unto lichdom.

This sounds like not just a good skill, but possibly a good additional skill tree for episode 2 and beyond. To further enhance our chosen skill paths perhaps there could be glyph combos or modifications that can be earned through new skills.

So instead of just summoning the litch you can enhance that and you become the lich. However why stop there, why not be able to transmute the player into a pheonix for flying and sun damage, or have a dedicated healer turn into a water elemental to further the healing powers...

this could also be used for archery by using glyphs that further enhance archery by gaining slayer glyphs. So that you can use these combo glyphs to further enhance archery to become an enchated archer that enchants their arrows to kill spiders, or demon slayer, or elemental slayer...

Another piece I've been working on. I think I'm finished now. The only other thing I was thinking of doing was adding an ore deposit, but I'm ok with where it's at. This is at about half size, for ease of browsing in the forum.

And this was the progression, when I was working out the details for the dragon.

Less of a character piece, and more of a landscape. Rhun Ruins, and Brier Castle (Not sure if that's spelled correctly.)

That Knight Marshal in starter gear is about to find the nearest Ankh.

Or he's playing "Here's Johnny" with his tamed dragon.

The former unfortunately. He was out prancing about, and discovered the mouth of a cave. Venturing beneath in search of glory and gold; he quickly realized it wasn't a cave or mine, but a lair. He attempted a brisk exit, but he was too late as the owner had returned...

    No happy endings.

I was very impressed with the work of @Shadow. He was super responsive. What impressed me most was that he constantly wants to improve his work. You could tell he loves what he does. His work shows this.

As for me, I couldn't be happier:

It's probably a bit far fetched, but I would love to see the possibility of opening an art shop in game, along the lines of Caravaggio's Wolf the art dealer. A craft-able set of paintings, with the content designed by the community. The only way I can see that happening is if curated art was put in game, and given a unique recipe which was supplied the artists. Seems like a lot of work though.

I'd still be happy if we could just get community art added to the existing art dealer. It's been done already, so the process exists. Just need the time and resources I suppose.

Really impressive work, I'd love to see it in the game.

You should reach out to @Mad Hatter, he's working on a community driven art project.

He is aware of my interest. As far as I know, there wasn't any progress made and everything was sidelined for at least a couple releases. I haven't heard anything in awhile, so not even sure it's still a thing.

In the mean time, a friend of mine printed out my dragon head for me. When I get a chance, I'll likely clean it up as best I can and paint it to match my image. I never intended the to use the dragon for anything other than a basis for the painting, so it wasn't really optimized for printing. Had to separate horns, and lower jaw. It's pretty big.

A viable way of introducing UGC like this, would be to do it like sheet music, where you can import a file that adheres to certain restrictions.
Although in this case the finished item might end up in a "pending" state, until a moderator has seen the art.

If you'd want allow production of multiple copies of said art, and not having to moderate every single attempt, the result of such an art import might be a unteachable recipe?

Quick update on the print. Still have work to do, but making progress. My daughter even joined in and helped with some of the painting. I haven't yet attached the jaw, as it's easier to paint this way. I haven't really made progress on the horns yet, but I have noticed the fit isn't quite what I'd hoped. It'll still work though.
