Pets should grant a small bonus to gathering/crafting

    Why should bears NOT allow a small to decent fishing bonus when out fishing?
    Should earth elementals and their ilk grant a bonus to mining, or crafting with ores?

    Why don't other tamed or even summoned creatures affect gathering or crafting skills?

    Suggestions?
