Place anywhere lot deed restock - in crown merchants is questionable

This is something that really needs a long hard look before implemented.

Would be cool if they limited the number of deeds a person could own. Help out us more casuals.

 

Let ppl own as mzch as they want. But what about if you could only buy ONE from the vendors per account?

I think they've already had a long hard look at it.

 

IF is 10 deeds on a vendor and 20+ people waiting to buy when it spawns there will be problems.

 

why is it a bad idea because the whales are going to grab them as soon as they hit the market. No cost is out of reach for players with millions in gold and thousands of Coto's.

Trying to get these out so new players can get some will not happen.

 

Yep, there needs to be a limit of one per account to prevent them instantly ending up in the hands of a few and being resold at crazy markups / real world cash.

 

If they see they aren't selling fast enough they still can raise the limit to two per account or whatever.

do not do it there is no good way to put more into the market, and no need other than $.

anything in game is a non started and bad idea.

Add them back to the store, give a way to upgrade them with NEW bundles.

Anything in game will not work.

 

Or one per account per month, or whatever.

But seriously though, the whales people are concerned about will just own multiple accounts won't they?

 

And why not limited purchases per account? And still we cannot outsell the available land can we? If players can't place in Npc towns due to no availability then the Developers see this. They are in charge. I don't want to ever place in an NPC town myself. I guess I'm not seeing the reason to panic but truly I have been surprised before.

I still haven't heard anything about advertising the features of this game in a meaningful optimistic way. Such as the housing *owning verses renting*. Perhaps the community could be called upon for ideas this is really important with so much negativity and rumors about housing in this game. Really imo a lot of this could be prevented for new comers before they even purchase the game depending on the information they get and how well it is outlined with the advantages and paths to being an in game land owner in this game presented in an encouraging way and also an interesting way.

wrong reason it is a bad idea, but the RMT crews will of course take advantage of this also since they will be able to gather more "prime" locations and resell them.

Look it is easy any introduction in game for gold or Coto's is bad (period)

Sure. But how many accounts can one own. Lets stay realistic. Even if it's five or six which I already doubt.

 

So are we talking land value? With more lot deeds in game true it will lower the price and affect that. We can't sustain an advertised housing game and not offer housing for players. It may be painful for the in game real estate sellers but it will be more fair imo in the long run. Some times for the good of the game hard choices need to be made. We can't base them all on rmt controlling necessary game design choices which has happened way too much in this game imo. It has totally affected that we can't all start fresh once this game releases for example. People will find all kinds of ways to make money anyway. So just imo of course.

 

Of course they will. Don't give up so easily. Details can still be worked out.

 

They also said they would increase the number of lots in the lottery. All that is being done is giving those who have plenty of gold to buy multiple chances and it being the same ones all over again. Without any limit on how many months you can win and people using alt accounts,new players will never stand a chance.
