    The drive for restocking place-anywhere deeds will be 4-fold.

    1- Number one, to make money for Port to continue game development.
    1- To empower new players and make everyone feel like they have a chance of owning property.
    2- Still act as a money-sink to stimulate in-game economy as these are taxable place anywhere lots. Lazy players or those time limited will need to buy codos...etc to fund rent.
    4- To flesh out many town areas of the map and ensure they dont feel empty.

    So I've read all the comments so far and come up with what I personally feel is a good idea and addresses most concerns based on some of them and my own thoughts.

    1- You receive a 'land deed' from @Lord British on Episode1 storyline completion. (Stimulating people to play the storyline part of the game they have created).

    2- This land deed comes as a taxible (stimulating economy) place-anywhere ROW lot

    2- This deed is account-bound and cannot be transfered. One per account. Requiring the entire storyline completion, which will put-off most of the non-hardcore, money-rich, time-rich players from going though the storyline many many times on new accounts. Even if they did, this time sink and money spent on new accounts would still be benificial to Port's money making efforts- so who cares! Its lot like they can be sold. Players could possibly buy the account but would likley be put off as it wont be on their main char and will be conning themselves out of the cool storyline reward everyone can get for free.

    3- This row deed lot can be UPGRADED from a row lot. Up to a village, town...etc. Using NPC vendors for extortionate amounts of COTOs. This has the effect of creating money for Port in the same way a monthly fee would. The amount required would refelect the real world money or time required to earn the next level up. The most important thing here is for port to make money, so COTOs are a better option than directly IGG (although people can buy gold COTOs from other players with IGG, it eventually it means Port is seeing the benefit as only they can issue them). The monthly tax of course goes up with the property type.
    Importantly - This also gives new non-backer players the feeling that housing progression is an actual possiblity, even if its time or money intensive. You can pay for the upgrades with COTOs directly, or simply play the game enough to amass enough IGG to buy COTOs from other players should you wish for a bigger plot.

    So there you go. How is this not a win-win for portalarium's bottom line, the in game economy and new players alike?

    @Berek thoughts?

    ***EDIT***

    I've just had another thought. Of course these cant be place anywhere deeds for finishing the storyline initially. That would take away from those that spent a lot of real money on bundles with POT deeds.. Etc

    These would have to be POT only row tax deeds. Bottom of the ladder. Same principle would apply though for upgrades but an even more extortionate amount applied to turn that one-per-account deed into a taxable place-anywhere one. Unless you are in true single player mode of course.

    Should still keep everyone happy?
