Placed pets run wild

Yesterday I built a nice hutch in my backyard and placed 2 rabbits in there. The whole day they roamed around in the hutch, sometimes climbing on the deco.
When I came online today one was outside the hutch, one was disappeared. I found it in the wall of my rowhouse. I tried to place them like yesterday but they don't materialize on the location I place them.
Red cross is the position I place them. The blue circle shows where materialize. Now they run around everywhere but not in the hutch.
