    OUCH !!!

    I do not connected since two weeks and I am very surprised at the magnitude that have battle banner in the game.

    It's everywhere.

    It looks like New Britannia is a vast World of Warcraft Battle Ground :(

    I really do not like the felling.

    I know that there already has thread on the subject but seriously ...

    I hope that as the invisible walls on lots, this will be fixed quickly.

    I've played with it in the QA server and so far, the only thing I've really noticed is that the lighting was toned down. Would still like to be able to turn it off completely, and also leave it switched on
    the preferred banner ( in my case, on the Lord British banner ).

    It turns off after 30 minutes of non intereaction as well I think.

    I kind of feel the same way about the obsidian items. Most people do not want to RP or play evil, but they sure as heck buy and use the evil items hehe. I think we need more evil items in the store. I bet they would sell, even to the "non" evil people :D I have put off buying the obsidian items due to the abundance of everyone using them in game.

    No way that I will buy one now as I cannot use it as a way to help people find a lot on my island if I have to go to it and keep turning it on. That defeats the purpose of what I was going to use it for. Oh well that great ideas are always changed to lesser implemented things.

    Barely. Appearance-wise it's still garish. I mean, the red version always looked fine. It's the yellow and blue that still looks as though it was made in MS Paint. And the fact that the edges are so perfectly straight and there is no pooling/curtaining of fabric.

    This is sort of pointless. Or at least it doesn't really address what everyone was complaining about in the other thread.

    This isn't perfect. It's a 5 minute, crude photoshop of what it could look like with neutralized colors and some pretty crappily done curtaining at the bottom to make it actually resemble a banner made of fabric. I wouldn't expect it to be curtained quite so much but like I said this was just hastily thrown together to show the difference some perspective lends. Even if the bold colors were to remain, properly curtaining it would be a vast improvement. A little more texture couldn't hurt too. If we're stuck with 'em the way they are though, so be it. Just thought I would throw it out there.

    Those banners and vendors will vanish soon. It is the same as with those knight houses some releases ago. It is new and many want to show what they have. Many hoped to get attention with it and because everyone was using it, it had no effect so after the next wipe it will be much less of them.
