Player Dungeon Exploits (Phase2)

The Player dungeon cleanup and revamp efforts continue...

The phase 1 fixes will be put back in place once some refinements are completed to prevent some edge case items from being considered out of bounds.

In phase 2, we will be addressing a number of exploits:

1. Decoration surfaces in the spawning version of the dungeon rooms - 6 of the 12 currently spawnable player dungeon rooms are able to have deco placed which can be used to block or channel spawned mobs, creating an exploit condition.

The deco surfaces have been removed from these rooms:
Stone Dungeon Room (Lich Boss) w/ Spawns
Stone Dungeon Room Spawned (Random Encounter 1)
Stone Dungeon Room Spawned (Random Encounter 2)
Stone Dungeon Room Spawned (Random Encounter 3)
The Rise Library w/Spawns
The Rise Dog Room w/Spawns)

2. The player-placeable Lich Spawner Statue can be placed in such a condition that the player can exploit by placing the statues and using deco to block/channel them.
Steps are being taken to disable the statue spawners while further steps are taken to rectify the situation.

Please note that any players leveraging these or other exploits are at risk of suspension or permanent ban.

 

The fixes are live on the QA server now:

1. The 6 dungeon rooms have had the deco surfaces removed.

2. The Lich Spawner Statues are operational again. The statue were never intended to provide XP or Loot. They have been adjusted to return them to their originally designed operation.
