I will tell you so what. If I own a POT and I have all my lots locked then no one can claim a lot. It will eventually be an overland empty pot.

If there's an abandoned POT and you can't claim a lot then simply move on. I really don't understand where angst is coming from.

My question about these new dungeons is....what's the difference? (I mean, aside from the cost, the points and the entrance)

Does a dungeon with more points mean I can have a bigger dungeon with more stuff?
Or does that translate into "level" of the dungeon?

I think it translates to more space; as in, you can add more hallways and rooms.

Based on the latest information, "points" determine how large of a dungeon you can create. The difficulty of the encounters can be leveled up by adding specialized wall décor in encounter rooms.

Another wonder I have is if there will be different "themes". IE, a Dungeon, a Sewer, a Cave Complex/Mine.

And with that, will there be other things, aside from Encounters and Treasures....like mining nodes.

I mean...being able to build an iron mine infested by Kobolds, or some such, right under your home would be kinda cool. Even have a mine entrance to the "dungeon" (craftable or store bought?)

It would be cool, but I think mining nodes will be extremely limited, if allowed at all.

The devs have sets for all three. They use the pieces to construct the story dungeons in the game.

What I'd like to see in addition to that are things currently not in the game, like catacombs and crypt pieces, ie walls of skulls and walls with alcoves where dead bodies can be entombed.

It would be cool if the dungeons tunnel all over Novia and link up :)

Of course, secret doors and break-down walls are a must. Oh! And Traps.

Don't eye my plusses to take them away from me, just because you're nonplussed

The non-property owner can take advantage of the benefits of this by using any of the available 'dungeons' that property owners put down.

So, yes - both parties get something from it.

ya, its not quite the same thing I am talking about. I see your point. But if you are not a property owner then you are SOL if you want to try to make a dungeon.

Greetings @Bow Vale, There is a easier way to allow customization to dungeons instead of importing pictures. They need to allow all deco to be used in dungeons and also introduce dungeon specific decorations. This would be easier to manage game wise than allowing all to players to upload even 5 personal pictures. Introduced Deco is one item and the same item identifier for all, each personal picture would be a new item identifier multiplied by how ever many people. I Have not been able to listen/watch/read the discussion on Player Created Dungeons but have you heard any comments about using indoor/outdoor deco in then like you can in basements/homes/lots?

In the early days I created a maze dungeon using a 5 story row basement with stone blocks and wooden walls. It worked out very well but was only able to add billboard flyers to the walls. If they had just added placeable traps and allowed the use of deco I could have made a great dungeon and a new system would not be needed.

I have a good idea for a dungeon, and the logic for it as well. I am hoping I can possibly pull this off with just a Row lot, and the basic mechanics. Looking forward to this. My graph paper is ready! (I haven’t done this in years!). :D

Typical forum thread. I was like oh cool! Then read... yeah, yeah, complain, *****. complain, forum fight begins. FFS people can I not even enter positive started thread without this nonsense from the same people every effing time!?

Anyway, I bought one of each and after 57 will be constantly designing dungeons... It's what I used to do, and finally an avenue to get back into it.

It would be nice to have something like the Magic Mover for Dungeons. That way, you can swap different dungeons in and out.
