Not if it is only visible to the owner (Or friended members) from a dialog window that only they can access.

 

@Darkstarr bank you say, does this mean banks are in and with them encumbrance is also in? Can I get a limitless bag if holding please.

 

You use /bank to get all items back. That is meant with bank at the moment

 

Having information in a FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS page is hiding it? Wow talk about spoon feeding.

When I have a game I'm interested in it's the first place I go.

 

If the information is an benefit it should be under: rewards.

I agree with it being on the pledge/reward also, but to say it's hidden is totally misleading IMHO of course.

 

Possibly /bank opens your bank chest from wherever, to get your items. As a slow migration to hardships

I think there should be a widely published set schedule and location(s) where the devs can hand out gold to anyone that wants to create content for community events in tandem with each Release launch. I value all the contributions that community members such as yourself have done but I also want this to be equal and fair for anyone that is new to it and wants to step up to do so. The key thing is to communicate this widely and publicly when/where/who is handing out gold for this specific purpose. Forum post, in-game MotD, in-game admin message, IRC MotD, Weekly Update, etc. Just jumping in at random and handing stuff out willy nilly creates 10 page rage threads.

People can create a post in the R13 Events forum to let the devs know what they're planning.

 

From the sounds of it we get to keep our lots come dec 18. I sure hope so !

Seriously though, couldn't house activity be determined by the owner entering or exiting the house or are you testing object placement as well?

 

All the *owner* of the lot need do is log in.

The "move some furniture" bit is to allow a Kindred/Trustee to refresh the lot when the owner is unavailable.

Darkstarr, thank you for responding to my post. Yes I am a little jealous of those who did get hand outs and fully understand why it was done. In retrospect it was not so much misinformation but the on-again off-again plans for a wipe before the next release. Based on what I read I elected not to try and accumulate enough gold to acquire a plot and house and spent the time testing the game to best of my abilities and helping as many newcomers as I could. I was disappointed that the plot/housing situation would not change and was miffed.

Perhaps I need a bop on the head for that but that's how I feel. I have no regrets about the $1000+ I have pledged so far but that is all for now.

 

If there is no wipe - And you need a lot, please let me know, I would be willing to give up my claim to give you access to one.

 

So, from what I am reading & interpreted it correctly, if u log into your house or move or add decorations of any kind, you would be able to keep your house and all items inside?
If this is correct, I am hoping that coming soon would be taxes & house deterioration, so we can see what to expect.
Would a chart be available showing the tax rate if you were to own more than one house or property?
I hope soon, we can be able to get NPC vendors, to see how they would and what is needed to keep them.
Also, I hope with this new update, players recipe books stay in tact, with the recipes already found.
Whatever happens, I'm ready to move on and see what changes happen with this great game.

 

So how about if you go to your home and just use a crafting deck and nothing else.
Would that be enough to consider a decorative moderation

 

I don't think you are really understanding it.

A) If you LOG IN, your home lot is refreshed. Period

B) If you don't but someone else who has the correct privileges uses or moves an item in the home, or on the lot, the house is refreshed.

One OR the other refreshes your house lot. There is no need to do both

 

This really is not that hard to understand is it?

Owners - LOG IN -- house is safe

Owners CAN NOT log in.. PERSON GIVEN PERMISSION moves something....
