Urbanmyth... Point of clarity. I'm not sure of your intention in the highlighted line above, but once set, the PvP flag for a scene is not planned to be something within the control of the scene owner. I.E. you won't be able to toggle the scene to PvP on certain days, and then back again.

This would limit your events to people standing on the bridge and dueling. This may well have been your intent all along, but I wanted to point out the limitation just in case.

 

However!

There is the possibility that people would be able to flag individual lots within a town for PvP (DLMB™) in a non-PvP scene.

If that doesn't go through, there's always the option of PvP arena basements.

 

Hmmmm, I thought I heard that once NON-PVP POT's get the ability to ban from the scene, that lot bans would be removed.

I'll have to check my sources on that.

 

We're not talking lot bans vs town bans...we're talking flagging a lot for PvP, using PvP arena basements in non-PvP towns, and how you won't be able to toggle the PvP setting for a town like a light switch for Episode 1. It may be possible in Episode 2 and further, but the toggle will be on a very long cool-down to prevent exploitation of the mechanic.

There were a couple of new additions which were posted in this thread; however, there are a couple of points of contention which are worth checking.

• Nova Kane is gone (according to my notes) - he had a Metropolis.
• Derium is gone. His POT is now the one that Stile Teckel has (Its A Guild and CD&B merged).
• Blake has a Holdfast? I can't always keep track of what he has.
• Grayle has 2x Cross Roads : he told us at Tantalus but perhaps didn't post in the town threads.
• Luznad has Hamlet (upgrade from Holdfast) : he told us at Tantalus but perhaps didn't post in the town threads.
• On my spreadsheet I had Winfield as owning 2x POTs, I've changed the Holdfast to be under Sean Silverfoot's ownership which I think is correct (it was laziness on my part).
• Atogrim (aka Sirius Drake) has a Hamlet (upgrade from Holdfast) : he told us at Tantalus but perhaps didn't post in the town threads. --- downgraded
• Turin has a Holdfast called "No Lag". Is this for real?
