Please Balance PVP Loots To Prevent PVP Parasite From Being A Viable Playstyle

    From what Ive heard Chris mentioning the PVP zones will be worth it in the future. It's just not designed completely yet and maybe we get more info next telethon.

    I think that level cap on zones is wasted time if it's what he has in mind. It won't help the game to do that.

    First, there is no balance between each build of the same level, at the moment.

    And secondly, pvp zones are not always the best place for getting a fair fight.

    When some of the best experienced avatars will get ganked constantly by groups of people, we will only have another drama on how a level 120 has no ability to fight against 4 level 80 because of the cap blah, blah... Then the most experienced will party together, level every skill they need to 100, and again the game will go into one of its worst flaw.

    PvP needs factions and reputation. Any attempt to build a place for "fair fights" is just wasting time. Let the players define when they can have a fair fight or not. Don't pretend you can do that for us or you will get your retirement long before any success.

    guys register on the discord Blood Bay channel, there are some interesting discussions there with Atos on PVP mecanics and more. All of you raise very interesting points that could be also be discussed there (and some of them already are).
    What is sad is that most of the PVPers I know do PVP for fun, some of them do not even take ransom as a rule and search for fair fights for the fun of fighting against human beings and not AI driven mobs. But they are less and less of these people, all the others are giving up because of few psychopaths.
    But as some of us perfectly stated, it is inherent to PVP games, some douch guys get into it and spoil the fun of the majority, and they may even kill pvp by discouraging new players to go into it... why not trying to make sure they do not have access to our markets...Document griefers, pick their names (or they main names for some of them, hiding behind alts to behave like psychopats), keep logs and try to ban them from the major market places...I can ensure you it will calm them down quite quickly...
    The devs can solve the balancing problems and I believe they do everything they can to address the problems we see everyday, but they cant address griefers. It is our job to do so...

    Token is a good idea to bring people into pvp without the risk of loosing in one hour what it took you weeks to accumulate. I fully endorse that idea. But then it kills the concept of thief in this game...but maybe it is the way to go

    I guess you might not have noticed that the shardfalls are pvp zones because the oracle's "magic" doesnt work there.... its lore based and has nothing to do with encouraging pvp or anything.

    Douse + purify + healz till they run out of mana.... warding makes this even funnier....
    Air+fire is a joke and its super easy to make fun of.... its not a great pvp build
    There are way better builds that can kill in 4 sec or less

    When you see the archer, just put death shield and equip a shield and laugh

    please, ive seen you lose fights where you outnumber you opponent 2 to 1, talking like archery seem like its viable in pvp roflmao, its even less viable than blunt lol

    I agree that the form of his message was not adequate, but he is right nonetheless.

    Griefing is part of the game.

    And there are ways to avoid it.

    The answer to people who had bad behaviour should be in game, with people hunting the griefer, not asking for some developper action.

    The only action we should wait from devs are : balancing the game and giving tools for the players' action like a good reputation/faction system.

    People who wait for fairness in a devoid of rules PvP system are not realistic. And where there is no rules, it's up to the players to build those.

    Why isn't the gameplay solution considered? Set up an ambush with guild mates waiting in the wings to take out griefers... or simply have guards. Pre-release, weren't there a lot of "virtuous" guild boldly proclaiming they were going to do just this? Or have things devolved to 1v1 only? Can there be no ambushers or guards because they miss out on the all-important grinding?
