    This looks great. My concern is that if you paid money for vanity armor you can't use it because the stats are low.

    Many/most online games address this issue. You either have separate vanity slots, or there is a gold sink to transfer the stats of one item to the shell of another. Do you know if Portlarium plans to address this? It will be shame if we're all running around in identical looking best-in-slot crafted gear and we never get to see these fantastic designs.

    I think this is a MAJOR problem with the add-on store items. If they're just vanity items, that's fine. But once you introduce cool stuff like armor you really do want to wear it in PVE and PVP. What I think has to happen is crafters need to be able to improve the armor so that it matches what can already be made in game. The only difference then would be the look, even the durability of the "functional" stats would be at risk of being lost, even though the actual item would never be destroyed. For looting, the add-on store items would still not be lootable, but using them might increase your ransom to help make up for this advantage.

    The elf armor is not that vanity. You can grind to level 50+ in it. Has great value as far as I'm concerned.

    Looks great! Looking forward to seeing the archer stuff.

    Eh eh - I used to refer to the old style of elf armor as my 'mud wrestling' suit - at least that's what it looked like on Raven. I remember the first time I wore it at a community event guys kept 'scoping it out.'

    P.S. I didn't really care, btw. I was never offended by it.

    I grind 50+ in just regular unmodified leather armor. Really wondering what people mean by "you can't use it."

    You can't add enchantments to it.

    If I had known it was going to look this good, I probably would have bought it when it was available. :(

    You don't need to be fighting in souped up armor all the time, though... just like I fight in unenchanted leather. So I'm questioning the "you can't use it" part.

    If I were roleplaying a character that was a really cool Elven Trained fighter that always wears elvish armor, it would be lame to have to switch into non-elvish armor to pvp.

    That's just one of many examples that I could come up with here. It's not that it can't be used it's that because it's an add-on store item it has very limited uses over the life of a character.

    @Baron Drocis Fondorlatos ,

    Not a good example, though, because you can't roleplay an elf yet. You can roleplay a human dressed up as an elf :D

    I have no issue with people wanting to enhance the store bought items with enchantments and so forth, to add value to them...

    I'm just poking a little at the idea that they're useless and just vanity items. You just said it again, "very limited uses." You really can do a lot in the game with basic armor. All the enhancements, etc. are just a bonus, that maybe matter in some scenarios, but players shouldn't necessarily be expected to wear their greatest gear all the time. Its going to break anyway, remember. Unless you pay a COTO. So you might as well save your good stuff and wear more basic armor most of the time.

    Please PLEASE make this outfit dyeable. I love the new style of the rework, but it's a totally different color from when I bought it now. If I can dye it black, it woud be perfect. ;)
