[POLL] What type of player are you?

We are all different, but how different are we? As the Big Red Rock gets relentlessly closer and we approach our final demise, it would be nice to know, in those final moments, just who we are. If you share my curiosity, please respond to the poll.

I'm finding it really difficult to vote. I don't really have a "mostly" here. There are enough aspects to the game, enough things to do in each aspect, and I can switch between them pretty easily. I guess it's what keeps me playing.

 

Think I'm pretty definitively 'other' I'm usually in solo online mode, except for meeting friends and going to events, dabble in crafting to make my basic gear but not bothered about it being the 'best', don't grind xp because it's boring and I am content just playing the game, not that fond of adrenaline - I just do stuff that I happen to find fun at the time, which would mostly bore anyone else to insanity but suits me fine.

 

There's no 'deco' option Womby!

I mostly like getting lost in the world, having different sorts of adventures, coming across different challenges, discovering new things, finding new horizons, and building a virtual life. (In brief. I mostly like immersing myself in the game world)

 

I thought that the majority American players would be more familiar with First Past the Post. Are you suggesting that system has flaws?

You may of course complain until you run out of pixels. Or motivation. Whichever comes first.

well fine you've got me there... but in that case you're offering too many choices - there should be just 2 in BIG TYPE and color-coded blue and red, and then a couple more in very small print... and ghosted out...

otherwise people may be confused...

I am not complaining Womby. I would like to add one more list on your Poll. RP/PvP and structured warfare. I have always done structured RP/PvP in games, mostly UO. In UO you could minimize the griefing and interference in your RP because you where able to war another guild without warring the entire pvp subset. So when you set the terms of war it was consensual between your guild and the other guild without outside interference. This is how I wanted to play Shroud and cannot do this here unfortunately. The mechanics are just not here, and not for lack of asking for them.

 

If I gather an amount of signatures equal to 10% of registered forum users, will you add a new poll option?
