    As many of you might have noticed via our standup notes we have been coordinating moving to a new office for a couple of months now. We were going to originally move slowly over this entire week+ with internet and network overlapping at both offices but AT&T decided to disable our internet 2.5 weeks early on Friday! So we started moving Friday September 14 and we just completed the first phase of that move today, Monday September 17. As of 3 PM we have just now gotten much of our network back up and running and mail is mostly working (although it is trying to flush the thousands of mails it tried to process over the weekend when we didn't have a network).

    This AT&T disruption is why we were unable to have our weekly livestream about Books on Friday sadly but we plan to have it this Friday if all goes well.

    Please be patient with us over the next couple of weeks as we settle in to our new location and work out all the issues with recovering from the network disruption and relocating.

    That happened to me. I still had a month left on my apartment lease, and had just bought a house. I figured I'd casually move in over the course of that month... but the ISP went ahead and switched early, and I was like, "Welp, I guess I'm living in the new house tonight"

    I hate open work-spaces with the fiery passion of a thousand exploding stars.

    It's the only bit of Agile that I vehemently disagree with.

    It'll be interesting to see the new Livestream setup.

    Gets some cubes in there. I hope you guys aren't planning the "startup" like open floor plan, that is the worst office design to EVER come out in the history of business. Its also now been proven as the most unproductive thing you can do to people (was just reading a article on this).

    I toured Rackspace's corporate head quarters `3 years ago and they put people on mobile desks (with wheels) in an open environment. You could write a PHD paper in the sociology of what people did in those environments. For example, if people felt ostracized by the other employees, they would roll their desk in to some corner 25' from everyone else and sit there alone. Funny $__t

    Cubes, offices, walls, cost money!! I'm glad you decided to Use only natural lighting to save the environment!! Minimalist is in now people, less carbon footprint.

    Congrats on your new digs. Glad you were able to find something that works for you.

    That room looks like it is going to be so hot all day tho. I see like 18 monitors and lots of bodies...

    What's the new address to send things to y'all (like completion mail)? Friday's update still had the old address in it.

    Yep, if you have one 'nice but loud' person in this office set-up everyone's productivity goes down circa 50% and folks go gradually crazy. Good luck!
