Position of buttons on "skip encounter" window

Yes, then No is our normal button order.

For example in the Destroy Item dialog

Yes destroy is the first button, Cancel is the second

But is skipping the scene saying Yes? Or No?

In other words, are we confirming going into the scene, or are we canceling (no) the scene by paying gold?

Because it feels to me more like the latter, pushing "Pay" is me saying "No" to the scene, not "Yes" to some mage.

I would say the order should be

Enter Scene, Skip Scene (pay gold)

 

It seems like it's asking if I want to pay 1000 gold to skip the encounter. Otherwise, what would be the point of the window?

 

Sure, it is asking it that way.

But imagine what that's saying. Yes is the positive, so you're now doing Yes to skip things, rather than Yes to go do things, and No to skip it.

 

I'm saying "yes" to paying 1000 gold.

 

I get it. I think it's counter to the way it should be.

Yes to do the level. No to skip.

 

Personally, I want to be able to hit escape to not pay the fee.
